01 · What's in your kit

Five essentials for the first weeks home.

Each item was chosen by our clinical team for the early postpartum — selected less for novelty than for what quietly does the job at 3am.

01 Blood Pressure Monitor Clinical

Medline Digital Blood Pressure Monitor & Cuff

Your body is still doing important work after birth. Monitoring your blood pressure helps catch early signs of postpartum preeclampsia — a serious but treatable condition.

How to use

Check once daily (same time each day is ideal). Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring. Keep your arm at heart level.

02 Peri Bottle

Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle

Gentle cleansing without wiping protects sensitive, healing tissue — especially after tearing, stitches, or swelling.

How to use

Fill with warm water. Use while urinating, or after using the bathroom. Pat dry gently — no wiping.

Pro tip

Using the peri bottle during urination (not just after) can meaningfully reduce stinging in the first week.

03 Postpartum Underwear

Frida Mom Postpartum Underwear

Soft, high-waisted, and designed to hold pads securely — without irritating sensitive areas.

How to use

Wear in the early postpartum days, especially with heavier bleeding. Pair with pads, cooling liners, or witch hazel wipes.

Good to know

Gentle support without pressure on your abdomen or incision — safe for vaginal and C-section recovery.

04 Abdominal Binder

Frida Mom Abdominal Support Binder

Provides core support, improves posture, and can ease discomfort — especially after a C-section.

How to use

Wrap snugly, not tightly, around your midsection. Wear during the day for support. Remove at night unless otherwise directed.

Listen to your body

Support should feel stabilizing, not restrictive. If it feels tight or painful, loosen — or skip the day.

05 Hydrogel Breast Pads

Momcozy Hydrogel Breast Pads

Instant cooling relief for sore, cracked, or sensitive nipples — especially in the early days of feeding.

How to use

Place directly on clean, dry skin. Store in the fridge for extra cooling. Reuse per package instructions.

Extra support

If pain persists, consider connecting with a lactation consultant — your care team can refer you to one in-network.
